Lincoln community & Selwyn – discover your big backyard and everything it has to offer

Selwyn District is becoming the place to be for living and investing in Canterbury, holding the title as the fastest-growing territorial authority area, increasing more than 30% to 44,595 people, the 2013 census shows.  Despite the radical growth, the Lincoln community continues to maintain a village feel.

With the move in population, a number of trendy bars and restaurants have popped up. Lincoln’s charming atmosphere plays host to a myriad of activities to bring the wider Selwyn & Lincoln community together.

With nearby access to the beautiful valleys of Little River and bay of Akaroa, there are many relaxing things to do. Beautiful coastal walking areas in and around Banks Peninsula entice you to explore the natural surroundings and with close proximity to the Southern Alps, this is the perfect blend of town and country, with peace & quiet and convenience.

To help make moving in to Barton Fields Lifestyle Village stress-free, we have listed some key recreational activities for your feel right at home.
